Ambrosio Sexton is a portrait, nightlife, and studio photographer based in Austin, TX, with a keen eye for capturing candid moments and genuine connections. His love for photography began after taking a semester-long course at Austin Community College, where he discovered his passion for the art form. Learning from an experienced photographer was pivotal, and from there, he dove headfirst into the world of photography, where his love for creativity, people, and storytelling all came together.

Ambrosio’s style is rooted in minimalism and authenticity. He believes that less is often more, preferring to keep his editing to a minimum to preserve the raw, natural beauty of each shot. This approach helps him create real and personal images, whether photographing a lively nightlife scene or a quiet, intimate portrait.

Beyond photography, Ambrosio is deeply passionate about fitness and music. He holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Jazz Studies from UT Austin, where he played the piano, and stays active in his daily life, valuing a strong and healthy body. His ability to connect through both music and photography adds a unique depth to his work, infusing each photo with an authentic energy.

His favorite part of the process? Shooting and then sharing the final images with clients. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see others enjoy his work, and it’s this connection to people that drives him to keep creating.
